Update takes away options

There is no option to have a blank screen with the clock. It’s either a slide show or their picture of bright flowers. In addition the clock does not rotate when the phone is placed on it’s side. This is necessary for older docks when using an Iphone5 with a case such as the life proof.
I’m not sure what the developers were thinking. Why not make it versatile so that the app is useful for everyone instead of making it conform to what they think is cool. Wish I could get the old app back.
